You get what you pay for.  How many times have you heard that statement?  It happens to be true for most things in life ~ buying a car, a new pair of shoes, a house, and even a cake.  Our cakes contain the highest quality ingredients, such as real butter, flour, eggs, pure extracts and flavorings, etc., and are made fresh for you, never frozen.  Can you go to a restaurant with your family and order a customized, made fresh to order dessert for less than $3.00 per serving?  Of course not!  So please remember, if you are cake shopping, be sure to compare our professional quality cakes with others of the same quality and standards.  I promise you won't be disappointed!

Custom Cake Price:

With buttercream frosting $2.50 per serving

            With fondant frosting $3.00 per serving

            With specialty fillings add $0.25 per serving

*Note:  Upon request, some fondant frostings may be flavored with different extracts, such as citrus, coffee, hazelnut, etc., to compliment your cake flavor.

Additional decorations:

Buttercream, Royal Icing, Fondant or Gumpaste flowers and decorations can be added on to your cake for a customized look.  Prices range from just a few dollars to several hundred, depending on your cake design.  Please contact us for a quote.

Sheet Cakes:

As with many things in life, not all sheet cakes are created equal!  A half-sheet cake at one bakery does not necessarily equal, in size and number of servings, a half-sheet cake at another bakery.  Please take the time to compare the actual dimensions of the cake when you are comparing prices!

Our single-layer sheet cakes are not torted (sliced lengthwise to create a 2-layer cake) or filled, unless requested (extra charges apply).  Sheet cakes are decorated in buttercream only, on the top and sides, with basic decorations.  Complex designs or individual cake square sections are available, and are priced accordingly.

Full sheet (22 x 15) ~ $80 ~ serving sizes vary between 50 (2x3x1) and 112 (2x2x1)

Half sheet (11 x 15) ~ $40 ~ serving sizes vary between 25 (2x3x1) and 56 (2x2x1)

Quarter sheet (9x13) ~ $25 ~ serving sizes vary between 18 (2x3x1) and 24 (2x2x1)

Carved Cakes:

Cakes can be made in almost any shape and size.  Design and number of servings must be carefully considered.  Carved cake prices begin at $4.00 per serving, and are wholly dependant on design and complexity.  Please note that carved cakes, while unique and original, are VERY labor intensive.  Prices will naturally be higher than standard cake pricing.

Cupcakes:

Cupcakes can be simple, with a just a basic flavor and a swirl of buttercream on top.  However, cupcakes can also be more complex, with specialty flavors, delicious fillings (think Hostess Ho-Ho's), and intricate fondant designs on top!  Cupcakes can also be used as a basis for carved designs (such as the Cheeseburger Cupcakes in my gallery), or even used to serve guests in lieu of a large wedding cake.  Cupcake prices start at $1.50 each (minimum of 12 - single flavor).

Cake Truffles:

Cake Truffles are wonderfully tasty, flavored balls of cake with a chocolate coating.  They can be made in almost any flavor (see above) and they are perfect for mini treats, wedding or shower favors, or just for a special dessert!

These treats are $10 per dozen, with a minimum of 2 dozen.

Custom Cookies:

How wonderful would it be to have delicious sugar cookies on every table at your wedding reception?  How much BETTER would it be if those cookies were personalized with the bride and groom's names and wedding date?  These delicious heart-shaped sugar cookies are about 3.5 inches in length and are covered with a tasty rolled icing.  They can be imprinted with your message in any color, or the message can simply be pressed into the icing for an elegant, subdued look. 

Cookies are $2 each, with a minimum of 2 dozen, with an additional $20 setup charge.  At least 2 weeks notice is required.

Cookie Bouquets:

Cookie Bouquets are a wonderful and unique gift for almost any occasion.  Believe me, nothing says "I Love You" like a dozen chocolate cookies on a stick!  (Okay, diamonds say it better, but I don't sell those...)  Flavorful cookies are baked, iced and decorated, then placed on a stick in a decorative container.  The options are limitless!

Cookie Bouquet prices start at $25, depending upon the number of cookies, complexity of design and packaging.

Starkieberries:

Deliciously ripe strawberries, filled with luscious cheesecake and dipped in chocolate...

you will think you have died and gone to heaven!!!  They look like chocolate covered strawberries, but bite into one and you have an explosion of cheesecake inside!  How do we get the cheesecake inside the strawberry?  Shhh, it's a secret...

Starkieberries are priced at $20 per dozen (2 dozen minimum).  Note that fresh strawberries are a seasonal item, and these gourmet treats may not be available year-round.

Biscotti:

We have just added biscotti to our menu of sweets!  These twice-baked cookies are perfect for enjoying with your morning coffee.  Currently, we offer the following flavors:

Our biscotti is approximately 7" in length, and is priced at $1.00 each (minimum one dozen).  You can mix and match flavors (minimum of 6 per flavor) for $1.50 each.

Delivery*:

Due to rising gas prices, wedding cake delivery is free only within 20 driving miles from my place of business (per Mapquest directions).  Additional mileage is $1.00 per mile.  If gas prices should reduce drastically, I will be sure to adjust this amount.  Thank you for your understanding. 

*Please note that on wedding cakes, delivery charges are NOT optional.  This is due to the fact that most wedding cakes need to be set-up on site, and finishing touches that can only be completed after set-up must be done on site as well.  Currently, we do not deliver cakes or confection items other than wedding cakes, unless previous arrangements have been made.
