(Groom's cake)

This bride's custom creation was made with our most popular flavor combination ~ Crème Brulée cake with Raspberry filling.  The flowers were made from fondant, and it was iced in a classic buttercream. This mouth-watering concoction is a butter pecan cake with vanilla buttercream icing, tinted brown.  On top of the cake are Starkieberries.  Underneath the wrought iron cake stand is another plate of Starkieberries!
   

Nyree  
Designed to look like the back of the bride's dress, this cake was 9 layers thick, with 4 different flavors and fillings.  It was over 2 feet tall, and weighed more than 40 pounds! What a beautiful bride!
   
The Phantom The Sandcastle
The Phantom was created for a themed event.  Delicious chocolate cake with Chocolate Mocha Toffee Crunch filling and and chocolate fondant made this cake unforgettable! Crushed vanilla wafers and graham crackers pressed into vanilla buttercream icing coated this whimsical cake, while molded chocolate seashells and starfish surrounded the castle.
   
Tessa's Castle Sarah
This complex castle was created in classic white and chocolate cake, covered in vanilla buttercream and topped with marshmallow fondant.  The picture does not clearly show the cobblestone impressions in the fondant and some of the other detail, but with seven tall turrets attached, this cake is definitely fit for a king (or queen)! This ultra modern, contemporary cake was modeled after a background graphic designed by a student of mine.  Was she thrilled when she saw her design replicated in a decadent chocolate cake!
   
 
Sweet 16  
From the neon colors to the huge daisies, this cake was custom created for one of my favorite teenagers!  This style of cake is called "Topsy Turvey" or "Wonky," and it is carefully crafted to give the illusion of instability.  This style of cake is very labor intensive, but in this case, it was a labor of love!
